Muskoka Chautauqua

As an artist in residence specializing in watercolor painting, I was recommended to Cleveland’s House Resort through Muskoka Chautauqua. In this role, I conducted immersive three-hour workshops every day for a week, engaging guests of all ages in interactive watercolor painting classes.

The success of my workshops in 2018 led to an invitation to return in 2019, further solidifying the impact of my artistic contributions to the resort. Throughout both years, my responsibilities included setting up and taking down workshop spaces and supplies, ensuring seamless execution of each session.

During the workshops, I shared my expertise in painting techniques and applications, fostering a collaborative and educational environment for participants. This involved working closely with both children and youth, tailoring my instruction to suit their skill levels and interests.

My impact as an artist in residence at Cleveland’s House Resort extended beyond the workshop space—I was even recognized in the local newspaper for my contributions to the program. This recognition underscored the significance of my role in fostering creativity and artistic expression within the community. It was a testament to the success of the workshops and the positive impact they had on guests of all ages.
